Meet Dan
Esquimalt is an incredible place to live, but Town Hall has lost its sense of financial reality. Over the last five years, property taxes have spiked by roughly 50%. This is unsustainable for seniors, families, and local businesses.
I am not a career politician. I am an operations leader with 40 years of experience managing complex budgets, infrastructure, and heavy fleets for a Canadian resource company—including 30 years on the leadership team for Alberta oil and gas operations.
In the corporate world, when costs rise, you don’t just pass the bill to your stakeholders; you find efficiencies. I am running for Mayor to bring that exact same corporate rigour, transparency, and accountability to our municipal budget. It’s time for a council that respects your hard-earned tax dollars.
